Welcome to Billy G's Kirkwood, a vibrant hub located at 131 W Argonne Dr, Kirkwood, MO 63122. This American restaurant stands out for its energetic atmosphere and eclectic menu that attracts both locals and visitors alike. The lively ambiance is accentuated by live music, multiple bar options, and a welcoming patio adorned with cozy fire pits, making it perfect for both date nights and casual gatherings.
The moment you step into Billy G's, you'll feel the buzz of excitement in the air. As Tanya Williams described, "the atmosphere was rocking," setting the stage for an enjoyable dining experience. Many patrons rave about the dynamic vibe, enhanced by the sight of TVs showcasing sporting events, ensuring you never have to miss a moment of the game.
The menu is a delightful blend of classic American comfort food and innovative dishes. Guests have praised the burgers and salads, while the tuna appetizer has garnered much attention as well. Chef specials like the Reuben sandwich—with its tender pastrami and gooey Swiss—create a memorable culinary experience that keeps guests coming back for more. I found myself enchanted by the rich flavors and hearty portions, which left me eager to explore more of their offerings.
Service is another highlight at Billy G's. As Chris E noted, the staff is attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, making recommendations that perfectly suit your palate. Whether seated indoors or on the busy patio, the service complements the eatery's inviting atmosphere, as demonstrated by Melanie, who was especially accommodating during our visit.
Of course, no meal here would be complete without indulging in their refreshing margaritas, a favorite among many guests. Robbie Sonnemann's experience at the bar proves that ordering a drink while watching the game is a winning combination. The drinks are vibrant, fruity, and perfectly mixed, making them an integral part of the overall experience.

The atmosphere! The place was rocking when I walked up, I knew it was going to be a good time. The live music entertainment. We sat in the patio, fire everywhere for warmth. TVs, several bars. Nice crowd. Server was wonderful and accommodating. Food was amazing. Of course the margarita was on deck, no complaints. Definitely check this establishment out!
Excellent staff food & locals. Sit at the bar & watch your favorite sporting event. Burgers salad’s & the tuna appetizer were outstanding. Easy parking too!!
Melanie is our server. She is awesome. She fixed our out of balance table. She knows the menu and she made our tea sweet just the way we wanted it. Billy G’s has a great atmosphere. We sat outside. It was wonderful. This is a great “date night” perfect place.
Last night was the 2nd time I've eaten dinner here. The food, service and atmosphere are fantastic! They had lots of indoor and outdoor seating. The only negative is parking, we had to park a couple blocks away.
This afternoon, while I was lounging around my cave of an apartment after work, an angry spirit popped up out of nowhere and threatened to evict me from my couch if I didn't leave voluntarily. I mean, just because I've been a hermit for the past two weeks, working, sleeping, and reading a few books, doesn't mean I should be kicked out for the evening. But hey, the angry spirit seemed to have a point since I hadn't seen the sun in a week. So, the spirit and I decided to embark on a new adventure and try some new food. Our journey led us to Kirkwood, where we stumbled upon the loudest place in town - Billy G's. This restaurant was a mix of indoors and patio, with live music blaring and a bustling atmosphere. After a being told our table would be a 30-minute wait (which felt like a win for a Friday night), we settled at the bar and ordered some girly, fruity drinks. As we listened to the tunes, my phone buzzed to let us know our table was ready. We followed our guide to a cozy booth at the back, where our waitress greeted us with specials and recommendations. After a humorous debate with the spirit about beans (apparently be deal-breaker along with premonition of where i would spend the night if i ate them, the couch), I settled on a Reuben sandwich for me, a fish sandwich for the spirit, and some wings as appetizers. The wings and drinks appear and vanished in no time, and our sandwiches finally arrived. As we marveled at the gargantuan size of the fish sandwich and placed a cheeky bet on the spirit's ability to conquer it, we dug in eagerly. The Ruben was a revelation, the pastrami like a gift from the heavens, the Swiss cheese perfectly gooey, and the sauerkraut packed a tangy punch. After I had finished. I couldn't tear my eyes away as the spirit polished off the entire sandwich with gusto, declaring it scrumptious. Alas, I lost the wager and had to face the consequences of driving us back home. All in all, Bill G's proved to be a charming spot for an evening out. The food and drinks hit the spot, the live music added a nice touch, and the vibe was as warm and welcoming as can be. I had a blast and can't wait to return for round two.
Delicious food with large portions. Sweet potato fries were the best I've ever had. Everyone liked their meal, cob salad, big burger, and smoked turkey sandwich with sourdough bread.
first time here as me and my boyfriend are on vacation, and we were absolutely blown away by the gorgeous patio and outstanding service. we were there around 2:00 today and our bartender was so wonderful!! next time we vacation here we will remember this place. the food was amazing too!!! awesome drink and food menus. just can’t say enough good things about this place
What a great place! They had a great drink choice and wide-ranging menu of sandwiches, burgers and more. Our server was amazing. We had to catch a train (Amtrak is right around the corner) and only had so long to eat and she made sure we had our food and we were about to eat and make the train. She and the kitchen staff made our day. In addition, the food is great! Big props. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Kirkwood and I'm a little jealous I don't live close by; this would be a regular place.
